My Story

When I started Brokenhead Studio back in 2005, my goal was to assemble all the things I loved from the jobs I had worked in my field, and add in my background in fine art to create products that exceeded the expectations of my clients & to create a legacy I would be proud of.

I have always enjoyed art, and working with my hands.  I studied Fine Arts at the University of Manitoba, graduating with my BFA, specializing in painting and drawing.  After university, I worked in the display department at Eaton's for two years, and then spent five years as a propmaster, designing and building a wide assortment of themed works.  From there I headed up the sales team for a large sign company for a couple of years, learning the business side of things, and a fair bit about the sign industry.

I have been very fortunate to work with some very talented people throughout my career, and now as owner of Brokenhead Studio, I draw on that experience and continue to learn and grow in what I do each and every day.

I truly love what I do, and I welcome the opportunity to work with you on your project, no matter what the scale.

Hope to see you soon!
